“We stay in Alvor and we’re recommended to try Loki. What a wonderful fine dining experience. Juan greeted us very warmly and made us feel very welcome guests. The restaurant is small and intimate, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is a six course taster menu, but please do not think you will be hungry after, far from it as there are also ‘snacks’ between courses, with all the food locally sourced, grown, all within 100 km range, only seasonal produce. Juan explains everything he is serving, the wines, spirits and of course his glorious food. Even the butter was made that day, there was cheese from the same cow.
